Facility & Equipment Use Policies

The purpose of our facilities at First Baptist Church is for fellowship, instruction, spiritual encouragement between Christians, and to glorify God.

The following steps have been developed in order to establish appropriate facility use procedures. These printed policies are provided to inform FBC church members and
non-church members of the policies of our church.

Reservations, Sanctuary & Education Space, Mitchell Hall, General Guidelines.

A. RESERVATIONS

Any person or organization desiring to use FBC facilities for any event must first fill out a church facility request form. The facility request form shall be completed and turned in to the church office for staff approval. Once the request is approved, the event is put on the church calendar. Events of non-members will not be confirmed until all fees are paid. Please refer to the fee sheet for fees to be paid.

In cases of conflicting dates, members will be given priority. Profit making events shall not be scheduled. If an event is canceled and fees were paid, the fees will be refunded at your request.

No events or rehearsals shall be scheduled during Sunday worship services, revivals, Wednesday nights, or other special services. Non-church events shall not be scheduled in the lower auditorium after 12:00 p.m. on Friday or on Saturday, unless a fee of $125.00 is paid for custodial services. Events scheduled on Sunday afternoon shall be scheduled to begin no earlier than 1:00 p.m. and end no later than 4:00 p.m. Non-church related events cannot be reserved more than 6 months in advance.
