Lisa came to Fayetteville in 1990 after receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ouachita Baptist University. She worked for Butterfield Trail Elementary and the University of Arkansas before joining the staff of First Baptist Church in 1993 as the children’s minister. She has also served as a children’s ministry consultant for the Arkansas Baptist State Convention and a member of the State Vacation Bible School training team. In addition to serving children & families, Lisa has a passion for missions and has been involved in missions here at home and around the world.
Q – Where were you born and raised?
A - I was born in Gulfport, Mississippi and raised in Searcy, Arkansas.
Q – What was your first vehicle?
A – My first vehicle was a rust-colored 1970 Ford Mustang.
Q – Why do you love First Baptist Church?
A – I love FBC because it is a real family. People here love the Lord and have a genuine heart for missions.
