Women’s Kick-off Lunch

Held annually in August, this luncheon is a time of fellowship for the women of First Baptist Church and their guests. Upcoming events in the women's ministry are previewed, and attendees enjoy a presentation by a special guest speaker. |
Women's Bible Study
Year Round |
The purpose of the Women’s Bible Studies at First Baptist Church is to glorify God through learning, sharing, and seeking His will by utilizing His Word. Look for information on Bible Studies at the Information Center and in church publications.

Annual Women's Retreat

Held off-site and overnight, the Women's Retreat is a great time to get away from it all. It’s a chance to meet women of all ages, make new friends, have fellowship time, and study God's Word with your sisters in Christ. |
Fellowships

The Women's Ministry plans several Fellowships throughout the year. Everyone is invited! We often craft, scrapbook, sew, quilt, shop, and just enjoy time together! |

| Women and Missions: |
- Women on Mission Group 1
The LaVeta Sergeant Women on Mission group meets monthly for mission study, mission support (praying, giving and going) and mission action. Southern Baptist missions and missionaries are studied and prayed for, but the major emphasis is placed on inspiring members to serve God as missionaries here at home or wherever else He might call.
- Women on Mission Group 2
The Multi-focus Women on Mission group meets each month at Butterfield Trail Villa Room to study missions and pray. We also observe Seasons of Prayer in March, September, and December. The group meets the first Friday of every month at 2:00 pm.
- Young Women on Mission
Young Women on Mission’s purpose is to promote awareness and involvement in missions. Programs will include presentations from people who have been on the mission field, prayer calendar, local mission opportunities, special mission emphasis and planning for or helping with any upcoming mission trips.
- GA’s-For girls in grades 1 through 6. Meets each Wednesday night during the school year.
- Mission Friends-For all preschool children. Meets each Wednesday night during the school year.
